Incident Response

The Federated War Room

When an incident hits, responders are split across chat apps. SyncRivo bridges your incident channels across Slack, Teams, Google Chat, Webex and Zoom so SREs and stakeholders discuss it in one real-time conversation. Alerts still come from each tool's own chat app.

Incident Response

Silos = Downtime

Disjointed communication slows down a Sev1 outage.

Fragmented Response Chains

In a P0 crisis, Engineering is in Slack, Management is in Teams, and Security is on Zoom. Context switching slows MTTR and creates dangerous information gaps.

Bridge the incident channel across platforms. A message a responder posts in the Slack #incident-123 channel appears in the Teams counterpart in real time, typically within seconds. One conversation, everywhere.

Data-Poor Ticketing

When responders are split across chat platforms, the discussion is scattered. Post-mortems suffer because the "why" is spread over several tools.

With a bridged channel, the whole discussion — threads, edits and files — exists natively on each platform, so the record can be exported from whichever platform your team uses. SyncRivo does not integrate with Jira or ServiceNow.

Siloed External Partners

Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external security vendors are often locked out of internal response channels, forcing reliance on slow email threads.

Bridge external partners into your incident channels through a cross-organization partner connection that both admins accept. They use their own Slack/Teams; you see it in yours.

Enterprise Security & Architecture

The SyncRivo Advantage

Secure Routing Layer

Messages are encrypted in transit (TLS) and message content is not stored on the normal relay path — only message IDs are kept to sync threads, edits and reactions.

Enterprise Identity & Directory Sync

Directory sync on Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Webex and Zoom Team Chat, so mentions and sender names stay consistent across platforms.

Governance & Activity Logs

Activity log and security event history (JSON export), per-connection admin switches and owner/admin/member roles. BAA available for Enterprise customers; DPA and sub-processor list available.

Cross-Platform Incident Communication

Alerts from your tools' native chat apps, human discussion bridged across platforms.

Incident Response Patterns

Standardize your response posture across the entire organization.

Bridged P1 Channel

Keep a standing #incident-p1 channel bridged between Slack and Teams. Alerts arrive through each tool's own chat app; responders discuss them together across platforms.

Real-timecross-platform discussion

Threads, Edits & Files

Thread replies, edits, deletes and file attachments sync across the bridged channel, so everyone sees the same incident context.

Executive Visibility Dashboard

Leadership on Microsoft Teams follows an incident channel bridged with the engineering channel in Slack.

Compliance & Post-Mortem

Because bridged messages land natively on each platform, the incident discussion can be exported from your platform of record for root cause analysis.

Common Questions

SyncRivo bridges the human conversation in an incident channel across Slack, Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Chat in real time — messages typically arrive within seconds. Responders discuss the incident from their own platform without switching apps. SyncRivo relays messages posted by people; alerts posted by tools and bots are not relayed, so each alerting tool should post through its own native Slack or Teams app.

SyncRivo has no PagerDuty integration and does not relay messages posted by bots or apps, so PagerDuty alerts themselves are not forwarded. Use PagerDuty's own Slack and Teams apps to post alerts on each platform. SyncRivo then bridges the human discussion — engineers on Slack and Teams replying in one bridged incident channel, with threads, edits and files kept in sync.

SyncRivo creates channel bridges that connect incident responders regardless of which platform they use. Engineering in Slack, operations in Teams, and management in Google Chat can all participate in the same incident bridge. Messages, replies, and file attachments cross platforms transparently — eliminating the "who's in which tool" friction during P1 incidents.

SyncRivo has no ServiceNow integration and does not forward ServiceNow notifications, because messages posted by bots and apps are not relayed. Use ServiceNow's native Slack or Teams app for notifications; SyncRivo bridges the conversation between responders on different chat platforms.

SyncRivo is event-driven with no polling — messages typically arrive within seconds. An optional retry queue can hold undelivered messages and retry them. Discuss your reliability requirements with us during a demo; SyncRivo does not currently hold a SOC 2 report, and we provide a security questionnaire and architecture review on request.
