eDiscovery requests span both Slack and Teams. Manual export from each system is slow, incomplete, and loses thread context — creating legal exposure and increasing response time during litigation hold.
Bridged messages are posted into both Slack and Teams with thread context preserved, so each platform's native eDiscovery and legal hold tools can collect the conversation. SyncRivo does not provide its own eDiscovery export.

Per-Client Matter Bridges
Each client matter gets its own bridged channel. Admins configure bridges in the SyncRivo dashboard, and messages flow only between the channels that are bridged.

Bridges connect specific channels, so each client matter can have its own bridged channel. Messages flow only between the channels you bridge — a Matter A bridge does not carry messages from Matter B channels. Admins configure bridges in the SyncRivo dashboard, with owner, admin and member roles controlling who can manage them.
SyncRivo relays messages between platforms in real time, and message content is not stored on the normal relay path (only message IDs are kept; an optional retry queue temporarily holds undelivered messages). SyncRivo still processes message content in transit. Your firm's existing privilege and confidentiality controls remain the primary protection; review SyncRivo's data handling with your risk team.
SyncRivo does not provide eDiscovery or legal hold features and has no archiving integrations. Bridged messages are posted into each connected platform, so each platform's native retention, legal hold and export tools apply to them. SyncRivo keeps an activity log and security event history (JSON export).
Yes. SyncRivo partner connections (accepted by both organizations' admins) relay messages between the client's Teams tenant and your firm's Slack workspace (or vice versa) without issuing guest accounts on either side. Clients communicate from their native platform; attorneys communicate from theirs. No client has access to your firm's internal workspace — only the matter-scoped bridge channel is shared.
