How to Set Up the Three-Way Bridge

01

Connect Teams

Sign in with your Microsoft 365 admin account. SyncRivo uses ChannelMessage.Read.All and ChannelMessage.Send via Microsoft Graph API.

02

Connect Google Chat

A Google Workspace admin approves the SyncRivo app from the Google Workspace Marketplace; no service account is required.

03

Connect Webex

Authorize with your Cisco Webex account. SyncRivo requests spark:messages_read and spark:messages_write only — no Meetings or calling access.

04

Map channels

Select Teams channels, Google Chat spaces, and Webex spaces to bridge. Real-time three-way sync begins immediately.

Who Uses This Integration

Multi-suite enterprises

Large organizations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Cisco Webex all deployed in different business units — SyncRivo connects them without forcing consolidation.

Cisco infrastructure sites

Manufacturing, healthcare, and government sites with Cisco telephony and Webex Rooms that need to communicate with corporate Teams and Google Workspace teams.

Post-M&A integration

When an acquirer uses Teams, the acquired entity runs Google Workspace with Google Chat, and legacy Cisco infrastructure still serves the factory floor.

IT teams managing transitions

During platform consolidation from Webex to Google Chat or Teams, SyncRivo keeps all three connected so communication never goes dark during the transition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. SyncRivo bridges all three in real time. A message sent in any of the three platforms is delivered to the mapped channels in the other two typically within seconds, with full thread context, @mention mapping, and file forwarding.

This is typical in large organizations that run Microsoft 365 for corporate users, Google Workspace for collaborative teams, and Cisco Webex for legacy telecommunications infrastructure. Post-M&A scenarios frequently produce this combination.

SyncRivo connects to Google Chat Spaces (formerly Google Chat Rooms) via the Google Chat API. You select which spaces to bridge — individual direct messages are not included in the bridge by default.

SyncRivo uses Microsoft Graph API with ChannelMessage.Read.All, ChannelMessage.Send, and Channel.ReadBasic.All delegated permissions. An Azure AD admin must grant tenant-wide consent on first setup.

SyncRivo maps user identities across platforms using email address matching. When a user is @mentioned in one platform, SyncRivo identifies the corresponding user in the other platforms and sends a native @mention notification when that person is in the synced directory (otherwise the mention arrives as plain text).

Yes. SyncRivo gives you granular control over which channels and spaces participate in each bridge. You create bridge configurations that pair specific channels across the three platforms.

SyncRivo provides a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and sub-processor list. Message content is not stored on the normal relay path. Processing is hosted in the US (Google Cloud us-central1).

The first channel bridge is typically live during onboarding, once your platform admins approve the apps. Connect each platform via its OAuth flow (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Cisco Webex), then select the channels and spaces to bridge. No code or webhook configuration required.
