AI Assistants and Bridged Channels
SyncRivo has no AI assistant. It bridges human chat across Slack, Teams, Google Chat, Webex and Zoom so each platform's own AI tools can see bridged messages.
The AI blind spot in multi-platform teams
Microsoft Copilot works with Teams content. Slack AI works with Slack content. When a conversation is split across platforms, each platform's AI only sees its own half. SyncRivo does not add an AI layer of its own; it bridges the conversation so that messages from the other platform are posted into your channel, where your platform's own tools can see them.

Bridged messages land in native channels
Channel messages, thread replies, edits, deletes, files and @mentions are relayed between bridged channels, so the conversation exists on each connected platform.

No bot or AI relay
Messages posted by bots and apps are not relayed. Install each tool's own app on the platforms where you want it to post.

No AI routing rules
SyncRivo does not classify messages with an LLM. Bridges are configured explicitly by admins from the dashboard, chat commands or the customer API.

No AI event stream
SyncRivo does not expose a message event feed for AI pipelines. Message content is not stored on the normal relay path; only message IDs are kept to keep threads, edits and reactions in sync.
How bridged messages reach each platform
Event ingestion
Messages enter SyncRivo through each platform's event mechanism: Slack Events API, Microsoft Bot Framework for Teams, Google Chat app events, Zoom webhook events and Webex webhooks. Webhook signatures are verified on all five platforms, and duplicate events are filtered so a message is not relayed twice.
No message storage and no AI processing
SyncRivo does not generate embeddings, run a vector store or send message content to any AI model. Message content is not stored on the normal relay path; only message IDs are kept so threads, edits and reactions stay in sync. An optional retry queue temporarily holds undelivered messages.
Delivery
Relayed messages are posted into the destination channel and can show the original sender's name and avatar (Slack still shows an APP label; Teams native sender applies only to users who connected their account and never in channels; Zoom posts from the app). Data is encrypted in transit with TLS, and provider OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.

Here is how bridged messages appear on each messaging platform we support. Sender attribution and mention handling vary because each platform exposes a different app model and mention grammar.

Frequently asked questions
- Can SyncRivo summarize messages across Slack and Teams?
- No. SyncRivo does not include an AI summarization feature. What it does is post bridged messages into the destination channel on each platform, so a platform's own AI features (for example Slack AI or Microsoft Copilot, where your organization has them) can work with the messages that arrived through the bridge in that channel.
- How does SyncRivo handle AI assistants and bots across platforms?
- SyncRivo relays human messages. Messages posted by bots and apps (including AI assistants) are not relayed across the bridge. If you want a bot or assistant available on several platforms, install that tool's own app on each platform; SyncRivo bridges the human conversation around it.
- Can SyncRivo integrate with custom LLM or AI workflows?
- SyncRivo does not provide an AI integration or a message event stream. It offers a customer API for managing bridges, connections, activity and directory sync. For AI workflows over message content, use each chat platform's own APIs.
- Does SyncRivo support AI agents that operate across platforms?
- Not directly. SyncRivo has no AI agent feature and no unified message feed for agents to consume. It connects channels, threads, DMs and group DMs across Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Webex and Zoom Team Chat so the people in those conversations can collaborate from their own platform.
