Is Slack HIPAA compliant?

Is Microsoft Teams HIPAA compliant?

Yes — Microsoft Teams (with Microsoft 365 E3/E5) supports HIPAA compliance. Microsoft will sign a BAA covering Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Teams has Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, and audit logs for HIPAA-required safeguards.

Can you send PHI via Slack or Teams?
