Short answer: Not for channel messages — and this distinction matters.
The Zoom app for Slack (in the Slack App Directory) handles /zoom meeting starts, Zoom Phone integration, and meeting scheduling. It does not route Slack channel messages to Zoom Team Chat channels. The two messaging layers remain completely siloed.
Mio note: Mio supports Zoom↔Slack as one of its four pairs, but routes via a shared Zoom hub — both organizations must share a Zoom environment. SyncRivo connects directly to both APIs with no shared environment prerequisite.
Who Needs This Bridge
M&A (Slack-native org acquired by Zoom-centric company), internal splits under Zoom One licensing, partner/client collaboration where one party uses Zoom Team Chat, and technology companies with Zoom for video and Slack for developer tooling.
How to Bridge Them
SyncRivo connects to the Slack API and Zoom API simultaneously. The channel bridge coexists with the Zoom app for Slack — meetings and Zoom Phone continue through the native integration. The first channel bridge is typically live during onboarding, once your Slack and Zoom admins approve the app.
