Short answer: Not for channel messages — and this distinction matters.
The Cisco Webex app for Microsoft Teams (in the Teams App Store) covers Webex meeting starts, scheduling, and Webex Calling (telephony). It does not route Teams channel messages to Webex spaces. The messaging layers remain completely siloed.
Critical distinction: Mio does NOT support Webex in any of its four messaging pairs. There is no Mio route for Teams↔Webex. SyncRivo is the only enterprise platform that bridges all five platforms including Webex.
What the Webex App for Teams Covers vs. Doesn't
Covered: Start Webex meetings, schedule via Teams calendar, Webex Calling PSTN, Webex meeting link previews.
Not covered: Route Teams channel messages to Webex spaces, thread synchronization, @mention forwarding, file transfer between messaging layers.
Who Needs This Bridge
M&A (Teams org acquires Cisco-standardized company), government/defense (Webex FedRAMP environments collaborating with Microsoft 365 contractors), internal splits (corporate on Teams, Cisco infrastructure teams on Webex), and enterprise client relationships.
How to Bridge Them
SyncRivo connects to the Microsoft Graph API and Cisco Webex APIs simultaneously. The channel bridge runs alongside the Webex Teams app — meetings and Calling go through Cisco, channel messages route through SyncRivo. Setup takes approximately 20 minutes.
