Short answer: No — not natively.
Cisco Webex cannot send messages to Zoom Team Chat out of the box. Cisco has built Webex integrations for Microsoft Teams (meeting launch), Salesforce, and ServiceNow — but not for Zoom's messaging layer. Zoom and Cisco are direct competitors in enterprise video conferencing and have no cross-platform messaging partnership.
No Mio path exists: Mio has zero Webex support. Mio's four hub-routed pairs are: Google Chat↔Teams, Google Chat↔Slack, Zoom↔Teams, and Zoom↔Slack. Webex is absent from all four pairs. There is no Mio workaround — not even a multi-hop one — for Webex↔Zoom messaging. SyncRivo is the only enterprise solution.
Why Webex and Zoom Coexist in the Same Organization
The most common scenario is a dual-video strategy. Large organizations with Cisco enterprise agreements run Webex Calling for telephony and Webex for internal video. The same organization also runs Zoom for external-facing meetings, partner calls, and large-scale webinars where Zoom's external participant experience and webinar capabilities are superior. Both platforms include persistent Team Chat, and both teams default to messaging in their native platform after meetings — creating two silos.
How to Bridge Them
SyncRivo routes messages bidirectionally between Cisco Webex spaces and Zoom Team Chat channels in under 100ms. The setup requires:
- A Cisco Webex bot OAuth2 token (Room.Read.All, Message.Read.All, Message.Write scopes via Webex Control Hub)
- A Zoom OAuth2 bot token with Team Chat read/write scopes and Webhook V2 configured on your Zoom developer account
- Mapping specific Webex spaces to specific Zoom Team Chat channels in the SyncRivo dashboard
Total setup time: approximately 20 minutes. No guest accounts, no directory trust, no migration required. Zoom meeting recording routing to Webex channels is also available — SyncRivo listens for Zoom Webhook V2 "Recording Completed" events and posts the recording link and AI transcript into the designated Webex space automatically.
