Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Create a SyncRivo Account

Visit syncrivo.ai/pricing and sign up. The free tier supports up to 3 platform connections and 10 channel mappings.

Step 2: Connect Zoom

  1. In SyncRivo, click Add Platform โ†’ Zoom
  2. Sign in with your Zoom account (Admin recommended)
  3. Authorize the SyncRivo Zoom app with requested scopes

Required Zoom scopes: user:read, chat_channel:read, chat_message:read, chat_message:write, meeting:read, recording:read

Step 3: Connect Google Chat

  1. Click Add Platform โ†’ Google Chat
  2. Sign in with your Google Workspace Admin account
  3. Authorize the SyncRivo app and assign it to the relevant Google Chat spaces

Note: Google Chat API requires the SyncRivo service account to be added as a member of each Space you want to sync.

Step 4: Configure Live Chat Sync

In the Channel Mappings section:

  1. Select the Zoom Team Chat channel to sync
  2. Select the Google Chat space to pair with it
  3. Set direction (bidirectional for most use cases)
  4. Enable Thread preservation if you want thread replies synced separately

Step 5: Configure Post-Meeting Automation

In the Meeting Automation section:

  1. Select Zoom Meeting Ended as the trigger
  2. Choose target Google Chat space(s) for notifications
  3. Toggle which elements to include: summary, action items, recording link, transcript
  4. Optionally filter by meeting host or topic keywords

Step 6: Test

  1. Start a test Zoom meeting and end it after 60 seconds
  2. Within 30 seconds, a post-meeting summary should appear in your configured Google Chat space
  3. Send a message in Zoom Team Chat and confirm it appears in your paired Google Chat space
